What is PROFILER® ?

It's a rapid, high-throughput approach to map conformational epitopes of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, including those present in complex mixtures such as serum. 

It is also a tool to identify antigen substructures that can be used as protective immunogens in vaccine research.

PROFILER® stands for Phage-based Representation OF ImmunoLigand Epitope Repertoire. It combines the power of next generation sequencing with the efficiency of phage display. It uses an unconventional vector that tolerates the expression of very large (or very short) antigen fragments. Fragments that can fully reconstitute the binding properties of the epitope can be readily selected and identified. This applies to both simple and complex epitopes, as shown in the examples below.
